Pipped at the post

I have spoken to a very dejected Pam last night, she was pulled off the mountain at the very last stage before the top She had a bad bout of altitude sickness and was totally disorientated. It would have been sheer stupidity for her to have continued. I have told her we are all so proud of her and that I just want her back safely now. Thank you all for your support and generosity. I will let you know when she is back home.

We're so proud of you Mom!! Well done for getting so far. Can't wait to get home and give you a big hug.

If anything, your sickness is going to make your tale so much more exciting!!! When you start telling your stories I suggest using phrases like 'verge of death', 'total isolation', 'no radio communication', 'urgent helicopter assistance'. I think they'll really add to it!

Lots and lots of love to the best Mom in world.

Some people will go to any lenghts to have time off work. I just go to the GP and get a sick note and lounge on the sofa for a week.
Pam you were a great mentor and are an even greater friend. I am really proud of what you achieved and why you did it.
Lots of love Dotty xxxxxxx
